The location of the TV control buttons is irritating. I'm constantly muting the TV unintentionally. Was the designer left handed? Just picking up the remote pushes one or more of the TV controls.

Get a cover for your Roku remote, some covers are slightly raised above the buttons, so you would have to purposely want to press the button to activate it. I have them on all my Roku remotes:
