I have gone through the pairing process so many times that I’m ready to give up…also tried pairing with the battery operated remote..nothing!! Please advise step by step..never had problems before

Let's get your Roku remote paired successfully. Follow the steps below:

Ensure that the Roku remote and Roku device/TV is both in pairing mode:

Restart the Roku devce to set in pairing mode. It will automatically enter pairing mode and look for remotes.

1. Remove the power cord from your streaming device
2. Wait at least 5 seconds
3. Re-connect the power cord

Initiate Pairing

• If your voice remote have pairing button, press and hold the pairing button for 5 seconds.
• If your voice remote does not have a pairing button, press and hold the Back  and Home buttons for 5 seconds, or until you see the status light begin to flash.

Once the pairing has been initiated, a prompt will appear on your screen.

Thank you trying..have done all this numerous times..roku sending another remote which will give me 3 new ones to fret over
