I have a 40" Phillips Roku TV and I'm using a GE Rokumote. It worked fine up until this evening, whenever I press "Home" it takes me to the Roku channel instead.

Hi @ILikeColumbo,

Thank you for reaching out to the Roku Community!

We understand that you are experiencing issues with your remote, and we are here to assist you. Here are a couple of troubleshooting steps to try:

  1. Restart your Roku device:
    - Go to Settings.
    - Navigate to System.
    - Select Power.
    - Restart the device.
  2. It might help to put new batteries in your remote.
  3. If your remote uses standard AA or AAA alkaline batteries, you can reboot it by removing and reinstalling the batteries.
-Remove the battery cover on the back of your remote
-Remove both batteries from the battery compartment
-Re-insert the negative (-) end of a battery first and then gently push the positive (+) end until the battery clicks into place
-Repeat the previous step to install the second battery
-Put the battery cover back on your remote

In the meantime, try using the Roku mobile app as a backup remote.

Hope this helps!

Thanks,
Jharra
