Remote control change request
I've received email noting a new remote. I won't be purchasing it.
What I would like in a remote is
- removal of 'quick access buttons'; on one of my remotes I disabled them as I kept pressing one by mistake; it was very annoying.
- replace the area of the 'quick access buttons' with a solar powering area to keep the battery charged. Don't put the solar powering area on the back like Samsung did, that is a poor design; with that remote it is easy to press the volume button when setting it down; very annoying.
- I like that idea of the buttons being lit; helps to find the remote.
Else, that is all. Although I would be nice to have the volume and mute buttons on the front, but I've learned to deal with that.

Thank you for sharing that. And also why does some Roku remotes not have a power button or volume button. I'm not sure why but it's not a remote control unless it has a power or volume button. Am I missing something here?

@woodsj2211, what you're missing is that Roku devices (other than TVs) don't turn off and there's no way to adjust the volume coming out of one. Any power or volume buttons on a Roku remote are strictly for the TV.
