The remote is 3 years old and is paired with a Roku Streaming Stick+ purchased in 2020. It's a battery operated voice remote. I followed all the instructions for fixing it (re-pairing) multiple times without success; including replacing batteries with freshly purchased new ones.
If I buy a new remote and it doesn't work either, will Roku accept a return?
I'm currently using the iPhone app but prefer to use the actual remote.
TIA for any advice.

Are you using the original Stick+ usb cable with bump in it? That is what the Roku remote communicates with, not the Stick+ itself.
Thanks. None of the original equipment has been replaced.
