We appreciate your first post here in the Roku Community, @Ellee211!
Thank you for sharing your concern about the battery health of your physical Roku remotes. We'd be happy to help you determine the cause and find you the best resolution possible.
For us to assess your concern better, kindly provide us with additional information such as follows:
- What specific remotes is this? Here's where you can identify your Roku remotes.
- On what Roku devices have you paired this with?
- Are you using the Headphones Mode (private listening) feature through your physical remotes?
In the meantime, here are some factors that will drain a remote a bit faster:
- Heavy usage of private listening on the remote itself--using the mobile app will save your batteries!
- There is a congested Wi-Fi network around the device. The reason for this is that most remotes use RF to connect to your Roku player, and constant reconnection will use more battery.
- Or viewing lots of short-form content, like YouTube, where a streamer could go through a few hundred button presses in an hour.

We'll be looking forward to your response!
