Remote volume sticks gos up and down. The scroll button sticks and keeps going. Always restart the Roku because of these issues.

I have taken batteries out and replaced and unplugged everything 

volume just keeps going up to 100 and keeps trying to go higher 

this has happened a few times

I'm having the same problem with a new Roku Streaming remote I purchased recently. The only way I can get it to stop is to put my hand in front of the remote.  Have you solved this problem yet?
