I had to do a factory reset on my Roku because it was a hand me down and no matter how many times I logged someone’s account out, they would still show back up. But now that I’ve done that, my remote DOESNT WORK EXCEPT FOR THE POWER BUTTON. I can’t get past the language screen. I don’t see how a factory reset would completely mess up the remote connection like this.

Firstly, may we know what specific Roku player are you having this issue with? Also, is this the remote that came with the device? If not, we need to make sure that the remote is compatible with your device.

Hello,

I have a 55” TCL Roku Tv and just a normal Roku remote with no pairing button that up until I reset the tv, worked perfectly fine. I had bought this remote separate from the TV and had no issues automatically connecting. The power button on the remote still works but nothing else does.

FOR ANYONE THAT HAS THIS ISSUE: I have a voice remote with NO PAIRING BUTTON INSIDE. Hold down the home and the back button until the remote starts blinking.
