I'm experiencing the same problem. I did not see a fix in the thread.
Is there a solution to this annoying problem?
Thanks.
No, Roku continues to just kind of pretend it isn't a regular issue that's a fault on their end. Support just kind of gives you the runaround and throws their hands up. I replaced the remote on the one Roku device that was experiencing this issue and it has stopped for several months, but when I first switched the remote it didn't work to solve the problem. It just one day magically stopped. Now I have a second Roku device downstairs that randomly does the same thing. Their remote finder feature really needs some help.
Hi @Dan9330
Thank you for posting in the Roku Community.
We understand that you're experiencing a loss of remote signal on your Roku device. We would be more than happy to look further into this issue, but may I know what type of Roku device model you are using? And when did you start seeing this issue?
Please reply here with the serial number of the Roku device associated with the affected remote. It can be viewed by navigating to Settings > System > About. We'll be able to further assist you from there.
Best Regards,
Arvy
Hi Dan9330!
I did fix the remote problem but it was so long ago I don’t remember what I did. 😫 let me search my memory banks and see if I can retrieve that information. If I do, I will definitely post it!
Sorry I can’t help you right now! Smoo
