I appreciate you for letting us know about the issues you're currently experiencing with the right arrow button on your remote. I'd be happy to help.
Kindly let me know the following so I can assess your concern better and provide an accurate resolution:
I'll be looking forward to your response.
Thanks,

I have the same problem described by others regarding the right arrow button. It doesn't respond and you have to press it extremely hard repeatedly to finally get it to work. Your instructions do not help with this situation because operating my tv set is not the problem. I'm trying to use the right arrow button to scroll thru apps and program choices from the Roku menu. All of the other directional buttons work great; it is only the one button that moves to the right that is the problem. Can you offer another solution?
I would love for you to send me and everyone else on here a PM about what Roku plans to do about your defective product. If multiple people have the exact same problem with only one button on an original or replacement remote, then it is obviously NOT a battery or pairing issue. It is a defective remote. Roku should do the right thing and offer all of us free, working replacement devices. I cannot in good conscience recommend Roku to anyone if the product has a known flaw and Roku isn't doing anything to fix it.

I have the same problem when using my Roku Voice Remote with my 4K Dolby Vision stick. The remote, mostly when pressing the reduce volume button, decides to increase the volume at a ridiculous speed to thoroughly unaccceptable volume levels. It ignores any attempt to reduce the volume, it will just increase it when the lower volume button is pressed. After a few seconds of this highly irritating behaviour, it returns to working as it should. I had this behaviour on my last 4K Voice Remote when using it with the same 4K Dolby Vision stick and replaced the remote because of this. It cannot be a faulty volume rocker switch, as both remotes have the same problem. I suspect shoddily written software from Roku that needs to be resolved in a firmeare update for the voice remote that comes with the 4K Dolby Vision stick.

We understand you're having issues with the volume levels and the button functioning for your Roku remote, and we'd be more than happy to suggest some troubleshooting steps to help you.
Reboot your Roku device - navigate to your Settings > System > Power (skip if unavailable) > System restart
Reset your Roku Voice Remote:
Nevertheless, no worries! We'd be more than happy to forward your feedback to the team.

Carly
Add my remote to the remarkably large list of remotes with right arrow issues. This problem occurred right out of the box in the last few weeks. Enough customers have certainly voiced enough complaints to authorize free replacements. Let's go Roku!
Warm greetings from the Roku Community, @Flyboy81.

Please provide us with additional information so we can better assess your concern and help you find the best resolution.

Carly
Greetings - we have also encountered the same issue others have described. Every other button works fine. The right arrow button started to be finicky out of the box but has become progressively difficult to activate regardless of pressure applied. My MiL isn’t strong enough to operate it at all.
The model is a 3941X - Roku Express 4K+. I’m not sure where I bought this one, we have three Rokus, but I believe it was a local Target. I do know that it was purchased in January of 2023, because it was our first Roku and that corresponds to the account creation.
I’ve tried the troubleshooting link which obviously wasn’t helpful since I’m posting here. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!
