Title says it. Tried new batteries. Tried factory reset. It opens up, starts the "Select language" screen, and then will not respond to anything. The light in the corner blinks like morse code, dash, dot dot, dash, dot dot, in an amber color. No hope of live support on Roku support site. Has anyone here run into this, and is there a solution?

Have you tried all the possible suggestions in this link: How to fix your Roku® voice or simple remote that is not working? If so and the issue persists, please reply here with the serial number of your Roku Express. It can be found at the back or underneath the player itself. I'll be able to further assist you from there.
All the best,

I followed ALL the troubleshooting directions. I even tried it with a different television. The problem is definitely hardware. I returned the defective Roku and got a replacement one. That one works, NP.
