So for the new "improved" remote you removed the two most useful features - a headphone jack, and dedicated 1 & 2 buttons. I'm guessing it's only a matter of time until the ones with headphone jack will no longer be available. You guys are geniuses.

other features.
Quick Launch Features
• two programable shortcut spots
• Search Quick Access
• Connect Headphones with quick access (for Bluetooth-compatible devices only).
How to Program Shortcuts
1. Press the Quick Launch button
2. Highlight the shortcut you want to replace. (Only spots 1&2)
3. Hold the Quick Launch button and select the options you want to program as shortcuts. (Clicking on "Apps" will bring up the list of installed apps to choose from.)
Search
Spot 3 is a shortcut to the search screen. This is the same search as the one in the left-hand navigation bar of the home screen.
Wireless Headphones
• Spot 4 is a shortcut for quick access to connect Bluetooth headphones.
• If no headphones are connected, they will be brought to the pairing screen.
To use headphone mode, you will have to use the Roku Mobile app or Bluetooth headphones (Only on compatible models)
Please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any additional feedback.

I sleep with the wired headphones on. BT headphones die if you wear them all night. The Roku phone app for Android is buggy and it drops connection all the time. And yes we have strong fast WiFi.
And the backlight? Who needs that? The remote is not that complicated. I can find every single button by feel, day or night.
Ditch the backlight. Bring back the headphone jack. Sounds like the quick launch button might be a keeper but I won't know until all your headphone jack models are gone. Also, the quick launch button is not as fast as a dedicated button directly to a specific app. For all that I can hit the Home button and scroll two clicks. Now which one is fastest?
We appreciate your response,
Thank you once again for bringing this to our attention. We want our customers to have a positive experience when using Roku, and we understand that this wasn't the case for you. We will share this feedback with our team.
