The battery popup malfunction is one of Roku's longest running issues. It's been going on for years and they have never done a single thing to address it.
They could create an option in the remote settings to turn off the pop up, like I have suggested dozens of times over the years, but they won't.
They could update the software to completely remove the pop up since it doesn't work properly and always causes problems, but they won't.
All you are going to get is a moderator may reply and send you copied and pasted troubleshooting steps from a script and it will all be useless because it won't work. That is what Roku does every single time someone has reported issues with this pop up malfunction. Either that or silence.
It's absolutely pathetic how Roku continues to completely ignore a real solution to this problem and how much it has frustrated many users over the years when it doesn't have to be this way at all.
The person who created this battery popup that constantly malfunctions should be fired. Whoever has been ignoring this for all of these years and refuses to fix it should be fired also.
