I have been dealing with the same issues for months now. Only works if I cut the power to the Roku and tv and turn it back on… it’s becoming really annoying. We have several Rokus in this house and only this one seems to have issues. Volume and power button just stop working while in the middle of watching. I have to get up to turn the tv off… can’t change the volume at all. Tried all the suggestions and nothing works but cutting the power and turning it back on! Seems this is an issue with a lot of people. Come on Roku. Get it together.

To assist you better, could you please provide some additional information regarding where and when you purchased the remote? Also, are you using a Roku streaming stick? I've had the Roku TV and the remote that came with for about 6 years. The volume buttons barely respond now. Everything else works great!
