What model Roku Stick do you have? Is it the purple case version (model 3500)? If so, you can no longer buy a new remote for that player, and in fact Roku no longer supports the device at all.
You cannot use an IR remote for any model of Stick, so the basic Roku remote or any aftermarket IR remote will not work. For the model 3600 and later you can use any WiFi Direct remote (meaning any of the current voice remotes).
If you can access the settings of your new WiFi router, you can change the SSID (the broadcast name) and password to match your previous router, and your Roku should reconnect automatically.
Hi, thank you for the advice, yet I have another issue related with the original post but with an additional situation. My Roku TV is not responding to the original remote control. I bought a new one, and neither it responds and could not be paired. I tried the new remote with another Roku TV and it worked fine (so, it means that the new remote is functional). I have no idea of how to reprogram the TV to my wifi network, since I can't control it with a remote, nor the Roku remote App. Need help. Another question, how to get TVs IP address if I'm not able to navigate the menu?

Let's start with the last question. If it's not connected to the network, it doesn't have an IP address. Your router will assign the TV an IP address once it connects to the network. If you can connect your TV to your router with an Ethernet cable, you can then find out its IP address in your router's list of devices. That's assuming your router lists the connected devices with something more than the network connection's MAC address (which is completely different from an IP address).
The standard Roku TV remote is IR, so it doesn't require pairing to a TV. Only the Roku Voice Remotes require pairing to the Roku. Since you've tested the remote on a different TV, you know the remote is working. Since it's IR, that means the remote must have a clear line of sight to the TV's IR receiver window. This window is usually somewhere across the bottom of the TV screen, but I can't be more specific than that. If there's anything blocking the bottom of the TV (soundbar, speakers, knick-knacks, etc.) move them to clear the IR window.
Thank you for the prompt reply, and the clarification about IP address. I have placed the remote a few inches in front of the TV sensor, the TV does not respond to the remote. Nothing blocks the remote from the TV. I have tried with two other remote controls. It's very frustrating. At this moment the TV is on factory settings; I can't even navigate with the three buttons the TV has: one for on/off the other two for UP/DOWN volume. The TV is a TCL 2019 model and doesn't have Ethernet. 😞
From the sounds of it, there's an issue with the TV itself. Only TCL can address that, since they are the manufacturer of the TV. Roku only supplies them with the operating system that is customized for TCL. Since the TV is five years old, I'm certain it's well out of warranty. Still, I would contact them and see what they might offer. Perhaps they will offer a replacement at a reduced price. That's simply guessing on my part, I have never dealt with that company, so I have no idea what their customer service is like.
Thanks a lot for your advice. I also think there's a problem with the TV, particularly, with the sensor. Let's see. Regards.
