Within a day of each other, I've had 2 Roku Express stop responding to the dumb IR remote. New batteries and device resets haven't fixed it. Both will work with the Roku app on android, but one cannot be discovered by the app on an iPhone (this one was previously controlled primarily using the iPhone!).
Has there been some update rolled out in the last few days that has broken them?
I'm in the UK, if that is a factor.
Verify that the remote is still working. Point it at your phone's camera and you should see a flash of light from the end of the remote on the camera screen when you press a button.
