I have tried the following ways:
1)hold the remote for 20 seconds
2)restart Roku by power supply and by settings system restart
3)removing batteries on remote
And the remote still unpairs

Could you provide us with the serial number of your Roku device associated with the affected remote? It can be found at the back or underneath the player itself. We'll be able to further assist you from there.

I followed the instructions you posted but the remote still frequently unpairs. It happens at least once per day sometimes two or three. Removing the batteries and putting them back in seems to get it to reconnect again. I notice that the green light under the battery cover is on solid when I remove the battery cover then it’s not on after I remove and reinstall the batteries. I’m already using an HDMI extension cable.
