TV Went into negative mode?

Jump to solution

My 55 inch TCL Roku tv went into negative mode 6 days after purchasing it. Unplugging it worked tonight. Should I return it and get a new one because I don’t want this to be a constant issue?

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, @Pblack65.

We understand that you're having issues with your Roku TV. We're happy to help.

We also recommend performing the below steps to see if you can resolve the issue:

  1. Power-cycle your Roku player: unplug it from the wall power outlet and plug it back in.
  2. Check for updates: Go to Settings > System > Software Update > Check Now
  3. Restart your Roku player: Go to Settings > System > Power (if you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step) > System Restart.
  4. Last resort, factory reset: Go to Settings > System > Advanced system settings > Factory reset.

Let us know if the issue is persistent.

Regards,
Janadee
