Update
The factory reset corrected the problem for about a day and a half. I now have to restart the TV to get WIFI working again.
FYI, I have a 65" Roku Brand TV. It installed a software update recently.
I will be talking to Roku support again. ☹️
Hello,
we did all those steps with optimum yesterday 7/27/24, and it didn’t work.. He wanted to restore the tv settings as last resort but I chose not to as I didn't think it had to do with the two different tvs. Roku was working fine two days ago… what happened? 😫
I was hoping the Factory Reset would help you as I have been following some of the threads with this issue. (factory reset does seem to resolve only temporarily).
It appears to be a caching issue. Resetting the chip/driver also fixes the issue but only temporarily as well.
The Issue Tracker section of this forum is indicating that Roku has identified an issue and will be resolved with a future update (who knows when). https://community.roku.com/t5/Issue-Tracking-Board/Solved-by-future-update-Roku-TV-Network-Connectio...

Increasingly, Roku is breaking the RokuTV experience with their OS updates. Whether just incompetence, lack of focus, poor testing, or not enough qualified employees, the last few years have soured me on RokuTV. There is definitely a disconnect between the OS and hardware that needs to be addressed.
I have long preferred a setup with a separate Roku device connected via HDMI to a TV. None on my Roku devices lose connection (at least, regularly/daily.) Based upon my own experience with a RokuTV, I no longer recommend an integrated RokuTV when people ask about Roku.
The lack of urgency of keeping their RokuTV customers updated to the resolution (and when this "future update" is to occur) is very disappointing.
Don’t bother with the factory reset, It worked for 1.5 days. Not really worth the trouble.
I have a MESH network and moved one of the units next to the TV and I am using a cat 5 cable.
If the issue gets fixed, I will switch back to WIFI

I have the same problem, I have had this TV for 4 years without any issues but since about the last 2-3 weeks the tv will lose connection when it is off/sleeping and require a manual system restart. I tried restarting the router and resetting (reconfiguring) the tv wifi settings and still doesn't work.
Anyone has a fix?
I have a 24 inch ruku TV, it gas been disconnecting from the internet as soon as it connects and I've tried everything, I do not know what to do, I've disconnected all the devices from the internet and reconnected them all of the devices will connect but the ruku won't please help me
CAN WE GET AN UPDATE?!
They've acknowledged this in the issue tracking board and have a future update (last notice was 7/18).
They suggested factory reset, but other people said that didn't work so i've been hesitant to do it because i don't want to re-enter all my information:
I'm surprised the mods haven't consolidated these threads underneith that master thread.
