I have a streambar pro connected to a samsung tv with two roku surround speakers and the sub. for a couple months it was great. Then when i would power on the screen would start flashing on and off at power up. I would do a factory reset and it would be great for a few weeks. Now every time i turn on the tv the roku home screen flashes on and off a couple times then blank screen. I have to unplug and replug in the stream bar and let it power up to get it to work. i have to reconnect the speakers every time which doesnt always work to get them to reconnect.

I have this same issue. Also with a Streambar Pro and Samsung TV. It’s annoying to unplug/plug it every time I want to watch TV. I am watching this post for a solution from the company….
John: Since I am having the same issue, here are my answers to your questions:
1- both the TV and Roku are plugged into the wall separately.
2- the issue began for me 2 weeks ago after many many months of using my Roku setup without issue. It looks like this is when a software update may have been done on the Roku perhaps?
3- all my cables are firmly plugged in.
Other info: my Roku model info is in the picture.
Hi @KA75,
Thanks for keeping us posted, and welcome to the Roku Community!
We would like to gather more information regarding this issue that you had with the Roku streambar pro. Could you provide us with the software version of your device by going to settings, system, and about?
In the meantime, you should check your HDMI cable and try a different HDMI port if your Streambar Pro needs to be reset each time you turn your TV on and off. This is probably a sign of an issue with the HDMI connection or the TV's power settings, which caused the Streambar to lose its connection and need to be reset in order to restore audio output.
We'll wait for your response.
Thanks,
John
The streambar is plugged directly into the wall. I had it plugged into a surge protector but roku suggested straight to wall. I actually now have it plugged into a wemo smart switch so now i can tell alexa to turn it of and then back on. The issue has been going on a little over a month. All cables have been removed and reattached.
Software version 14.0
Hi @mollerism,
Thanks for keeping us updated.
We will be more than delighted to assist you further with this issue you are having with the Roku Streambar Pro. Please try using it on a different TV and see if that makes any difference.
Let us know how it works.
Kind regards,
John
I am having the same issue, and this is my second Streambar Pro. Both are having the same issue. The Streambar Pro seems to lose connection after sitting turned off for 10 minutes or so. I use the RESET button on the back of the Streambar Pro to reestablish the internet connection. I cannot use a different HDMI port since the StreamBar Pro requires connecting to an HDMI port with ARC. The only port with that specification is HDMI 4. I am at my wit's end here and do not understand why this is happening. I have done all the software updates on both devices. I have tried all the suggestions I have seen online. I have contacted Roku more than a few times. Roku even sent me a new replacement Streambar Pro. It has the same connection issues. Before purchasing the Streambar Pro I had a little Roku Express and it NEVER failed me and always kept the connection. Any suggestions would be great, please.
I feel your pain. Exact same story. What I ended up doing was buying a surge protector with a ‘master’ plug. The tv is plugged into the master plug. When I turn off the tv, it turns off all other plugs on the strip. When you turn on the tv the other plugs power back on so the Roku reboots. Not happy but it works.
