We're here to help. May we ask aside from this action do you encounter any other problem on your Roku device? Could you confirm what Roku OS running on your device? It can be found in Settings > System > About.
We suggest you restart your router and the Roku device. To restart your router, you can simply unplug your router and plug it back in, or follow the instructions from your internet service provider (ISP) on how to restart properly the router. And for the Roku device, do the restart from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power (If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.) > System restart.
