Hi.

I have the same problem with two Ultra LT (4662RW).

Both Ultra LT are running now on latest available Software versions.

One on 13.1.4 and the second on 14.0.

I tried also on earlier Software versions, but it I was never able to use Screen Mirroring.

 

I tried with three phones, M31, A34 and A54. With no one of them I get it running.

I am able to see and to select the Roku device on my phone to start the screen mirroring, but after 10 or 15 seconds, I get the message on my phone that I should restart the device and try it again.

 

Except these two Ultra LT devices, I have two Roku Express 4K+ devices as well.

With that both Express 4K+ debices, the screen mirroring is working with all 3 phones I have. It works very well and stable.

I also have this problem with S20 FE and Roku Ultra. It will find it and then just say to restart my TV. I tried multiple apps for mirroring..nothing. We were abke to mirror last year with same Roku stick so  it must be in updates

Hi @Dureska,

We appreciate you bringing to our attention that the trouble screen mirrors your mobile phone through the Roku device.

Please follow these steps:

1 Go to Settings > Advanced system settings > Network connection reset > Reset connection.

2. Restart your router/modem and then try to reconnect your device.

3. Restart your Roku device from the Settings menu by navigating to Settings > System > Power > System restart. You can skip this part if you don't see a Power submenu.

Also, restart the device you're trying to mirror from.

If you haven't found a way to fix it. I was having problems too but I fixed it by going to my settings > system > advanced system settings > control by mobile apps > and make sure to enable that and set to allow. Hope this helps anyone having this issue still 🙂

I tried it also with S24FE and Galaxy A35.

Did you try all the other steps first then do what I said? Sorry about that I should of mention I did all of the other steps. first I unplugged my router and plugged it back in > reset the internet settings on the TV > restarted the TV > then I restarted my phone. But I have found out that having it wired up directly to my router has stopped this issue for me now. I am on a Samsung S21 ultra

THANK YOU THANK YOU!!

MY GALAXY S24 ULTRA would not recognize my new ROKU PLUS TV in order to "screen share/mirror" my phone screen to my TV.

I was about to pull my hair out, researching and following the many "instructions" I found that did not work!

Your solution WORKED the very first time!! Neither Verizon techs or the Geek Squad were able to assist me with a procedure that worked.
