I couldn't agree more.  Roku just keeps finding more ways to ruin the experience.  Their ads suck.  I most have seen the ad for Weird Al a billion times.  Now the home screen has a larger ad on the right hand side and all the **bleep** 'Categories' and 'Browse'.  All this makes me hate Roku.  I think of them as a horrible company.  I'd rather throw money at an Apple TV, new TV with smart apps, Google TV or Chromecast.

Thanks for confirming that you will decide what my home screen looks like. It’s not a problem. Tomorrow is Saturday I will throw out each and every one of my Roku products purchased two new TVs actually three I will make sure the Roku is never on any of my TVs looks like I’m going back to purchasing three Apple TV streaming devices. Thanks for making it your way that doesn’t work with me. I am the consumer I purchased one I want the way I want to keep your product. Looks like you probably would like to join bud light I’ll see what I can do to make that happen!

I have been asking them about their request for "feedback" for years.

If only they would be straightforward: they sell us the device that enables them to make money by advertising streaming channels. Once we have purchased that device, we are of no more interest to them.

Is there a platform that does not follow this model? If there is, please tell us what it is.

I just ordered Apple TV and will be picking it up tomorrow morning 

I have an older version and much to my surprise my Home Screen is still set up the way I like it so I’m picking up 3 new ones 

going throw all my Roku products out just like bud light !
