Howdy!
We have a Airbnb that we rent out and trying to find the best way to allow our renters to log into their streaming services and have it auto-erase when they leave. We found Guest Mode with the Roku, which seems to be exactly what we want, and it seems to work great!
The only problem is, Guest Mode still allows "guests" to tweak things that can break the device. For example, they can reset network configuration, which then reboots the device and it won't let you exit out of guest mode until the WiFi is re-setup.
Is there a way to lock down the Roku so guests can't do anything but use the apps - they can't change/add anything?
Hi @902mx,
Welcome to the Roku Community!
Our constant goal is to give our customers the smoothest possible streaming experience and ease of use. We will forward this to the relevant Roku team for their consideration. We appreciate your feedback and want to thank you again for it.
If you need anything else, please let us know.
Regards,
John

This should not have to be forwarded for consideration, it should be included already. Another complete failure by Roku which I'm sure they'll take forever to address, assuming they do at all of course.
It is common sense that guest mode shouldn't allow the user to mess with any settings other than log into their apps. But Roku has no common sense and their 'genius programmers' lack basic intuition.
