I’m having the same problem.
im trying to watch NASCAR through airplay from my phone, but for some reason, whenever I connect that channel (or other channels) it won’t show the race.
The TV I’m airplaying it to is relatively new (bought in march 2020) so I assumed it should work, but ever since June I’ve had the same problem: it doesn’t connect.
I don’t have peacock either, so that makes this even worse.

I was able to use apple AirPlay now will not work. I have tried all solutions I have the Roku express+ model 3931rw
and issues id e2-392-429
any help would be awesome
I tried to do this, and when I click on the Apple airplay and HomeKit in the settings, it shows AirPlay on the screen and then goes right back to the settings screen, and then about a minute later it repeats that process, and it keeps doing this in a loop and doesn’t go anywhere. If I click on it again, it does the same thing. It doesn’t take me to any further options.
when i click the setting "airplay and homekit" on my roku stick, it doesn't give me an option to turn it on or off. there is a square and it says "stream from your apple devices and control content with apple airplay and homekit. youll be redirected to apple airplay and homekit settings for set up" and im not sure what that means. and when i click on it, the airplay screen shows up for a second then disappears. i have unplugged things, updated things, looked at my phone setting and tv settings, i have downloaded homekit on my phone even though i have no use for it. and nothing has worked.
If your Roku 5115x and iPhone are on the same network and AirPlay still doesn’t work, your Roku model might not fully support AirPlay. You could try using a third-party solution like DoCast, which can help mirror your iPhone’s screen even if the device itself doesn’t natively support AirPlay.
