AirPlay drops frames/audio

Screen Mirroring video from my Macbook Pro is generally good for video but unfortunately with occasional dropped frames especially when there is motion in the video. Only Screen Mirroring is available and not Extended Display for some reason. All devices are close to the high speed fiber router. I am using a Roku Express 4K+, with a JMGO N1S Pro projector. All software up to date. I tried a different HDMI cable (8K) and no improvement.

Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community, @yangzone!

We appreciate you letting us know about the issue you're experiencing with the Roku Airplay feature and we'd like to be able to help.

To help you bring back the performance of your Roku, try rebooting your Roku.

Here's how:

  1. Press Home on your Roku remote
  2. Scroll and select Settings
  3. Select System
  4. Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, skip to the next step.
  5. Select System restart

Let us know if you see any significant changes on your Roku.

Best,
Emman
