I have been using the tv as a monitor through the HDMI cable. It was working the night I turned it off and then the next day a message indicated no link could be found. It is not the computer as it works on another tv.
@ride4two Sometimes, these cables lose sync with the devices that can be fixed by unplugging the cable and reconnecting back. Also, you can try unplugging the power of the TV for 30 seconds and re-connecting the power as that may also fix the issue, by resetting the connection.
You could also try a different HDMI cable as well as they occasionally go bad or if the TV/computer has a different HDMI port, you could switch ports and see if that fixes it as the ports can also break.
