I find it convenient that a number of our larger tcl televisions have died on us lately. Me being one of those.

Worked absolutely fine 2 nights ago, but as of the following morning we only had a black screen and sounds.

We have tried everything that has been presented with no luck. One thing I have read though was that if was a backlight issue, I'd be able to see an image with a flashlight. I'm unable to do this so I'm curious if it may not be the backlight. Any other suggestions?

Also, for those of you with this issues, has multiple power cycling or hard resets helped?

Thanks for the post.

Have you already tried unplugging your TV for 10-15 minutes then plugging it back in to see if the issue persists?
