Welcome to the Roku Community, @Ronnie264!
Thanks for inquiring about this. We'd like to assist with your concern about your TV that talks when trying to navigate through the home screen channels.
I believe you're referring to the Screen reader on your Roku.
Here's how to turn off the feature:
First way:
- The screen reader can be turned on or off by pressing Star on the Roku remote four times quickly. The Star button is located below and to the right of the directional pad on the Roku remote. The directional pad is plus-shaped and is in the center of the remote.
Second way:
- You can also customize your screen reader experience by going to Settings, then Accessibility, and then Screen Reader. Then make sure that you put a checkmark on Off.
