Vertical static bars. They appears on the screen today 09/16/24 with no damage down to the tv:

Vertical bars have appeared on the screen. No damage has come to the tv and was worki g perfectly until this issue. Tried to restart the Roku by going to ‘settings’ and restarting in ‘systems’. A temporary fix that only lasts a minute or two before returning to vertical lines.

Welcome to the Roku Community, @Alaprocky11!

Thanks for letting us know about this. We'd be more than willing to help you determine the cause and find the best resolution possible.

Before proceeding, it would be great if you could provide us with the specifics so we can assess your concern better. Kindly provide us with additional information such as follows:

  • What model is your Roku TV? (ONN, TCL, Hisense, Select Series, Pro Series, Plus Series, etc.)
  • Did your TV recently receive any software updates prior to this happening that might have triggered this issue?
  • Is this happening on a specific channel? Or will it trigger during playback?
  • A photo of what is being shown on your screen when the issue occurs.

We'll be looking forward to your response.

Best regards,
Carly

Re: Vertical static bars. They appears on the screen today 09/16/24 with no damage down to the tv:

I have the same issue, I have reached out to Roku and ONN and have done all troubleshooting methods such as factory reset, unplugging, doing the hold the power button for 30 seconds and taken a pin above the hdmi port and still have the same issue. I have had this 65” tv for less than a year and the bars gradually get worse after about 30 second to a minute and takes up half the screen. Roku has seemed to be of no help on their chat and just keep telling me to do all the steps after already doing this 5 times. Any input would be great on how to get this issue resolved.
