Update to 12.5.0 broke my digital audio output

Last night I was using my digital audio output (as I do every night) to connect via an "audio streamer" to my hearing aids. Until 9:30 PM all was fine, When I got up tthis morning I could not stream. Optical output is dead. My setting screen says I recieved build 4172 or version 12.5.0 @ 10:04PM. Software update killed my digital output.

I can confirm this by routing my home theater to this connection. No output. I can also confirm that my streamer works when tied to the audio output of my computer.

I did call support and spent 22 minutes doing the same thing over and over again with the phone rep. They finally agreed to put in a ticket. 

This is a 2 month old 65" roku plus series 4k TV

I had the same problem after the update.  I had to factory reset my tv to get it to work again.
