Did anyone ever come up with a fix for this? I have Samsung Smart TV and roku streambar
Hi @Gapsjoy,
Greetings from the Roku Community!
We're glad to assist you with your Roku Streambar that is not showing the TV volume numbers. We'd like to know more about it so we can further assist you. Please provide us with more details.
We'll be waiting for your response.
Kind regards,
Eunice
I’ve tried changing settings in every way I can think of and nothing helps. I’ve tried rebooting and nothing helps.
Love the sound bar, but it would be great if we could tell what level the volume is on.
The Streambar remote only controls volume by CEC, the tv and Streambar have to recognize each other as a CEC device. If you can't refresh the CEC devices in the tv settings try unplugging the power from each for a bit. Then plug them back in, give it time to work.
Unplugging and replugging had no impact on the issue at hand.
The volume controls work fine on my TV.
The issue is that all you get is the +/- indicators NOT the numbers.
Anyone else have any ideas?
I’m encountering this same issue, as someone who always had the volume set at specific numbers during the day or night because of kids this is almost a deal breaker to not be able to tell.
all I get it the plus and minus signs on the right of my screen, sound is only coming outof the Roku stream babe with the hdmi arc.
We just want to see the numbers, how can we do that? Every post I’ve seen has no replies after the first message!
This started today. I have restarted my Roku and the volume number still won’t appear.
Hi, @Kttubbs95.
Thank you, and welcome to the Roku Community!
We notice you're also having the same issue with your TV volume numbers not appearing.
Will you please try to do a manual software update to your Roku Streambar? To do that, go to Settings > System > Software Update > Check Now. Try this to see if it makes any difference.
Let us know how this works.
All the best,
Emman
