spotify acts like it's a roku issue. not their issue
Thanks for the posts regarding the issue you are experiencing.
As a last resort, have you already tried removing the channels on your Roku TV, then performing a factory reset? Then once you have activated your Roku TV again, try adding the Spotify channel back again?
If after factory reseting the Roku TV you are still unable to access the channel, please provide us with the following information:
-Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version (these can all be found in Settings > System > About)
-does this issue occur on a specific channel? if so, what channel and what version/build is the channel (this can be found be selecting the channel on the Home screen and pressing the * button)
-tracker ID when this issue occurs (when you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times)
-steps to reproduce the issue you are seeing
Once we have this information, we will be able to assist you further.
Thanks,
Danny
yes I "removed" the channel even though it's technically not there to remove because it never shows up once added. then I factory reset. I've also now made a whole new Roku account hoping that would possibly do something. it did not.
Roku TV- CE09X
onn. model- 100012586
Serial Number- X000005FX2HP
Software Version- 10.5.0•build 4210-DP
The only channel that has an issue is Spotify version 2.8.102
Tracker ID HP-119-324
All I'm doing is going to the channel store, searching for Spotify, selecting "add channel" and it loads acting like it installs. I go to the homepage, channel is nowhere to be found. I search for spotify again. I have the options, "go to channel", "remove channel". I hit "go to channel" it brings me back to the same screen over and over with the channel options. I've tried literally everything and for the life of me cannot figure out why it acts like it is installed yet it's nowhere to be found. and it will not bring me to the channel if I select so.
Thanks for the information.
I have passed along your information and concerns to the appropriate Roku team to investigate further. Once an update is available, I'll be sure to post in this Community thread.
Thanks,
Danny
I have the same issue. Spotify doesn't show up in the channel list and won't launch. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, along with doing a factory reset after the uninstall and unplugging and replugging the device after the uninstall.

Hello @speterson14
Thanks for reaching out to the Roku community!
We'd like to gather more information about the issue you're running into. A few questions here to better understand what you're experiencing:
1. Does the issue only occur on a specific channel or all channels on your Roku device?
2. Are you receiving error messages or codes when accessing the channel?
3. Have you removed the channel, restart the device the add the channel back? Note: Please make sure to restart your Roku device after removing the channel and before adding the channel back to ensure the process is successful.
4. What are you seeing on screen? Can you provide a screenshot of the issue you are experiencing?
