Hello!
On our TCL Roku television, a few shows on the Roku channel have goofy pictures. The best way that I can describe it is that it looks like the viewer is watching the show through an aquarium of moving water.
Oddly, it isn't all shows on that channel. Some are OK. An example of a bad picture is Iron Horse show.
I tried reset and power cycle with no luck. Internet speed shows full icon.
It will be all episodes of the show.
Do any of you know a fix for this, or is it a Roku Mothership problem?
Just for curiosity, do any of you get the bad picture on Iron Horse?
Roku channel is a little off the mark in other ways sometimes. One show I watch called Dobie Gillis often has the wrong closed captions for the episode and almost always the wrong description. Some other shows do the same thing. Without closed captions, I can't watch the show. Another, Modern Marvels, always has the wrong description in the channel guide. Odd, huh?
I suspect that the Dobie Gillis & Modern Marvels have to be Roku glitches.
Thanks For Ideas on the wonky picture!
Paul
Hi @PGB1,
Thanks for posting here in the Roku Community!

Once we have this information, we will be able to investigate further.

Hello Kash & Thank You for taking time to help.
Per Your Request:
MODEL 32S325
SERIAL YK00NR092888
SOFTWARE VERSION 12.0.0
DEVICE ID J8D8CN082177
ROKU CHANNEL VERSION 9.3 Build 10
TRACKER ID- Pressing home 5 Times followed by Back 5 times only brings one back to the Home screen.
No ID is show on that screen.
STEPS TO REPRODUCE: The easiest way, using my examples, is to go to Home - Search and type in "Iron Horse". When the available channels show up, pick Roku & play an episode. (Season 1 Episode 28 is today's example.)
The finding & playing method is the same for Dobie Gillis. (Home - Search. Then Pick Roku Channel)
For Modern Marvels; it is on the Roku Streaming Channel's Channel Guide list at Channel 470
Thanks Again for helping! I very much appreciate it.
Paul

Thank You Chel for helping.
WHile I'm here, do you know how to get e-mail notifications for replies to threads like this one working again? I tried turning them off and then back on with no luck. I tried several times, also updating the e-mail address and clearing cache & cookies, too. And, they're no tin Spam or trash.
Thanks, Paul
