Screen mirroring does not let me add any apple devices

My 2016 tcl roku tv 5107x says screen mirroring is available but will not let me add any of my apple devices. When using youtube I can play from my phone to my youtube app on it, but the prime app does not seem to work at all now on the tv as well as will not let me cast from my phone. Please advise.

We understand you're having a problem with the screen mirroring on your Roku TV. We're happy to assist you. Please try to restart your Roku TV by going to settings, system, power, and system restart. After restarting your Roku TV, you may need to restart your phone and try to see if the problem still exists.
