Here's what I have: Roku Plus series 55"TV, Roku wireless soundbar, Roku wireless subwoofer, and 2 Roku wireless speakers. My issue is with the wireless speakers. I can't get sound from the right one and if we are watching an old movie on Classic Reels or TCM the only sound is from the soundbar and subwoofer. I've reset the wireless speakers, more than once, and reset the soundbar too. Still no sound from the right rear wireless speaker, which is well within 30' from the TV/soundbar. I've seen one UTube video where the guy said it was necessary to disconnect/reset everything then starting with powering up the TV add the soundbar, subwoofer, and speakers again, in that order. Is that your advice too? Would appreciate a step by step instruction on getting what should be a 4.1 surround sound system working. And shouldn't we get sound from all of the speakers all of the time regardless of the source?
Thanks. Dan Flanagan
Hello! @Dan_1,
Thank you for your post in the Roku Community!
We appreciate you contacting us about your Roku surround system and your issues with Roku wireless speakers. We are pleased to assist.
When you initially paired your wireless speakers with your Roku TV system, you should have heard distinct audio from the left and right speakers. However, if after some time you find you only hear audio from one speaker, troubleshoot with the following steps.
If you still do not hear any audio from the speaker, proceed to the following:
If the issue continues, try the steps below:
First, ensure the title you want to watch is in a surround sound format. When using the internal streaming player, look for indicators on the content itself, such as "5.1", "Dolby Digital Plus 5.1", "Dolby Surround," or "Dolby Atmos." For external content like a Blu-ray player or TV broadcast, check that your TV's digital audio output is set to Auto (or passthrough) and that the source is set up for surround sound.
If the content does not explicitly say it is in surround, it likely is not. To hear audio from your wireless speakers in these cases, press the Star button on your Roku remote during playback and change the Expanded Stereo sound setting to one of the following choices:

Arjiemar,
I have a similar issue. I have a Roku TV with 2 Roku Wireless Speakers. I initially paired and set up the speakers without issue following steps provided. After a recent software update on the TV however, my speakers unpaired. I have followed all following troubleshooting tips I can find online and on these forums with no success:
1) Unplugging and plugging the speakers back in
2) Moving speakers closer to TV
3) Restarting Roku TV
4) Factory Reset on Wireless speakers
5) Factory reset on Roku TV
My Roku TV still will not re-pair to my wireless speakers
Current Setup:
Roku TV - Model: 65R4AX
Roku Wireless Speakers - Model: 9020X
