Re: Roku speakers an making cracking and popping sounds
Disney watching Taylor swift concert is the worst with it happening every 10 seconds or less. I’ve rebooted and powered off unplugged all speakers. Happens less with only the streambar pro plugged in and the 4 satellites unplugged. Without any speakers attached, it does not happen. With 2 satellites it still happens but not as frequently.
amazon prime watching dune happens more like every 30ish seconds.
spotify, just music, does not happen super frequently but the sub does pop every once in a while, maybe 3 times a song.
youtubetv watching Grammies it happened once every 15 seconds or so, pretty bad.
anything else I can get you?

Re: Roku speakers an making cracking and popping sounds
Turning off Atmos in the TV sound settings fixed this for me.

Re: Roku speakers an making cracking and popping sounds
Tbh, idk what the Atmos is trying to do, but I’m guessing it is taking the raw audio and trying to process it in real time to sound more “spacious”. So, whether it is branded Atmos or not, I’d try disabling any sound “enhancing” software. Leveling, etc.
