Re: Roku channel won’t play anything
Hi @Tlmiz,
We'd like to coordinate this with our Roku team.
Share some details.
- OS and build version (Press Home 5x, Back 5x)
- What exactly happens when you play content on the Roku Channel?
- Picture or Video showing the issue.
How do I insert an image in a post?
Upload the video to Google Drive then copy and paste the link
We look into it.

@RokuRiamie-D This will be the 3rd time I’m sending this information.
There’s no error, I hit play and the screen just quickly refreshes.
version: 14.5.4, build 5924-91

The Roku Channel in Roku TV is not working
Try doing either a system restart or unplug the power for a minute and see if that helps clear the cache. Also, check your network connection on the TV.

Re: The Roku Channel in Roku TV is not working
Hey @badgerboo,
Greetings from the Roku Community!
Here are the troubleshooting steps that @JWS9518 provided above.
Restart your Roku TV: Home> Settings> System> Power> System Restart
To power cycle your Roku TV: Unplug the power cord from the back of the TV and the wall outlet for at least 10 seconds, then plug it back in.
Check connection: Home> Settings> Network> Check connection
We hope this helps.
Best,

Re: The Roku Channel in Roku TV is not working
I see the problem everywhere. None of the solutions work and they want a screen pic of the error. Roku says they are working on it. I believe Roku has a huge problem they are trying to keep on the down low. I see ONN TV’s with Roku doing this and TCL with Roku built in doing this. Roku apparently cannot and will not solve the issue and hopes it goes away. Now I need to buy a new TV and not with ROKU. As business practice.

Re: The Roku Channel in Roku TV is not working
Hi everyone,
Please describe what happens when you try to play content in The Roku Channel. Does it return to the home screen, freeze, or stay on a loading screen? A picture or video of the issue would be helpful for our investigation.
- How do I insert an image in a post?
- Video clip: Upload the video to Google Drive, then copy and paste the link to your post.
Keep us posted.
