All I had to do was unplug the tv and plug it back in.
Having the exact same problem. Did you find a solution? My TV is barely a year old

My issue was resolved by doing what I described in my post on 5/10/2023
I unplugged everything connected to the TV and reset the internet connection. That worked.
System Restore worked. Did not need to do Factory Reset.
Hello: Thank you so much, really didn’t want to factory reset! I unplugged TV for 10-15 seconds and back to normal!!
Just had the same issue.
TCL ROKU 4k 65 inch
Menu screens were fine, no issues at all but all the streaming apps and connected devices were dark (redish) distorted and pixelated. My xbox display settings were telling me that my TV didn't support 4k resolution (which it should, and has been for over a year)
Problem was resolved by doing a Factory Reset from the TVs advanced settings menu.
