Roku Streambar Pro and Roku TV

Jump to solution

I just bought a Roku TV, and love it. However, my old soundboard is also due for an upgrade, and I can considering dropping the $700 for the Roku Streambar Pro Full Surround system. (Streambar Pro, subwoofer, and the four wireless satellite speakers.) I just want to make sure there will be no conflict between the Roku TV and Soundbar, or if I should intend to get the cheaper wireless Roku soundbar. I don't know if there's a difference between the speakers themselves, or if the only difference is one has a streaming ability and the other does not. Also, does anyone else run that setup? If so, what is the sound quality like? I prefer rich low bass that I can hear less and feel a little more, and clear highs.

Hi @megumi35,

Greetings!

Thanks for sharing your interest in the Roku audio devices, and we'd be more than glad to assist you with this. Since you wish you connect a Roku Sound bar to your Roku TV, it's best to check if it's a certified Roku TV and Sound bar ready. To determine if your sound bar is Roku TV Ready certified, look for the certification logo (seen below) on the original packaging or user manual, or visit the product details page on the manufacturer's website.
