In the meantime, we recommend performing a system update to your Roku TV. To do this, navigate to Settings > System > Software Update > Check Now. If your Roku TV has an available update, please proceed to it and check if the issue persists.

We appreciate you for sharing this information to us, and we understand that you're having an issue with the HDMI input being renamed on your Roku TV. In this intance, let's perform a troubleshooting to resolve the problem at hand. Kindly follow the steps below:

Restart your Roku TV

1. Restart your Roku TV by unplugging the power cable, waiting for a moment, and then reconnecting it. Alternatively, you can follow these steps to restart it from the Settings menu:

  • Press the Home button on your Roku remote
  • Scroll and select Settings
  • Choose System
  • Select Power. If you do not see a Power submenu, proceed to the next step
  • Select System restart

2. You can also try plugging the Roku TV into a different power outlet.

After completing these steps, please check if the issue persists and let us know the outcome. We hope this resolves the problem. Please keep us updated on your progress.

We appreciate your efforts in going through the troubleshooting steps provided above this thread. For this instance, we'd like to collect further information regarding the issue you have encountered. Kindly provide the following information.

  • Roku device model, serial number, device ID, and software OS/version. (These can all be found in Settings > System > About)?
  • When did the issue start to occur?
  • Tracker ID when this issue occurs. (When you see this issue occur, press the Home button 5 times, followed by the Back button 5 times, and provide us with this ID).
  • A photo or video clip referring to the issue,

Once we have this information, we'll be able to forward it to the appropriate Roku team for further review.

I changed the label and icon to streaming device, but it keeps changing to this on its own.

There is no update, the last one was the 8th of May, version 12.5.5, build 4174.
