Have tried this suggestions I still get no signal. I have changed the HDMI cord and it doesn't make a difference. Following every suggestions to recognize the HDMI through the settings have not worked. Now what? Is this some kind of Roku proprietary software in the monitors?
I am using a Roku TV with no external box.
So my Roku TV wil not connect to my cable box via HDMI. I have gone to the settings to select the correct HDMI input, I have restarted the Roku system, I have cut power to both TV and Cable box, but the TV will still not recognize the HDMI. The error message says no connection, "There's a problem with the connection."
Same thing happened to me. All of a sudden the Cable Box "INPUT" located 1st ICON to the right of HOME (OR WHEREVER YOU PLACED IT) has stopped working. Clicking on it does not bring up my cable (Xfinity X1). IT SAYS "IS IT ON? It worked fine for the last 6 months on my ROKU BRAND, ROKU TV and just stopped working. Clicking on the INPUT ICON does nothing. I had Xfinity recycle everything but it didn't fix the problem. The cable is connected to the HDMI1 input (ARC). GO to Settings-> system> power> system reset FIXED
