ROKU TV went black and no sound. Tried unplugging for 15 minutes, tried the reset button for 15 seconds with TV on. I checked YouTube for suggestions and most show that the LED needs replacing. To test this, I Held a flashlight to the screen and it doesn't appear to show anything to indicate that the LEDs are the issue. Is there a board I can replace that will take care of this? Or do I need to replace this TV?
My screen went black too. When I woke up I tried to put it on Youtube, but it wouldn't go down or up. At first I thought it was the remote, but when I reconneted it to my TV it still didn't have any effect. Then I tried unplugging it to reset the system, my entire screen went black. Now I don't know what's wrong with my Roku device.
Same situation- watching a show last evening and the screen just went black. Still had sound, tried unplugging and resetting. No help, but lost sound. Left unplugged all night plugged in this morning and reset again. Still black screen, but my sound is back.
