As we further check, that USB port is intended for diagnostics/initial programming. Kindly disregard my previous post, as that is not used as an alternative to plug in an HDMI port to connect it to your TV directly.

Could you please send us a photo of the hidden USB port you are referring to for reference? It may be the HDMI port to connect it to your TV, or if it is a wireless subwoofer, it may be a port to plug in the power cable. For further details, an instruction or user's manual is provided.
