No audio only something that resembles a clicking sound.

Jump to solution

Last night my Roku was working fine. Today the audio is only producing a clicking sound. The Samsung TV is functioning as it should.

Is anyone else currently experiencing this problem or has anyone experienced it in the past?

Welcome here in the Roku Community, @Millsg777.

We understand that you're experiencing an issue with your Roku's audio and we wanted to help you resolve this.

To restore the normal operation of your Roku Device's audio, you may try to troubleshoot the device by following these steps:

1. Restart Your Roku:

For a fresh start, unplug your Roku device from the power outlet and wait a few seconds before plugging it back in.

2. Double-Check Audio Connections:

Make sure the audio cable is firmly plugged into both the Roku device and the "Audio In" port on your TV.

3. Verify Audio Settings:

Ensure the mute button is off and the TV volume is turned up to an audible level. This will guarantee optimal audio performance.

4. Try a Different Connection:

If you're still having problems, try switching your Roku device to a different HDMI input on your TV.

5. Swap the HDMI Cable (Optional):

If switching HDMI ports doesn't solve the issue, try using a different HDMI cable altogether.
