No Audio from Apps, but can hear menu sounds
I have a Hisense Roku TV. Just yesterday, all native apps as well as a connected fire stick stopped playing audio.
- The TV is not muted
- I can hear the movement of the menu sounds on the roku home screen and menus
- The audio output is set to TV speakers, nothing else is connected
- when in an app if i hit * and go to sound settings, the audio kicks in for 0.1 seconds as I switch settings, then it cuts out again.
- This persists after 3 factory resets, and multiple hard resets and power cycles.
- It is on the latest software (which kinda feels like the problem). It worked correctly 3 days ago.
- If I plug in a soundbar using optical, I can hear sound through the soundbar

Did you by chance figure out how to fix it? I am having the same issue with my tv as well
