PLEASE!! Feedback for app

We have 4 Roku TVs throughout our house on three different levels. When the power goes out, even for a quick second, SOME of the televisions randomly turn on, others don’t. I don’t have any power setting that I can adjust on the TV or in the app except fast/on off settings and those are turned off on all TVs so there is nothing else I can do to keep this from randomly happening. However, what I would like to see as an addition to the Roku app is to add a status on the device list and the remote page of the app that let’s you know if the television is on or off. One example for the remote page is to simply have the power button at the top right of the page show in the color of gray if the power is off and red if the power is on or something similar something  relatively easy to do I would think.  On the device selection page, you could just have a status that says power on or power off under the name on the device. When we have to go up and down three flights of stairs just to identify which TVs are on and which are not if we do have a power outage it is a real hassle - especially since it should be such a simple thing to have on the app.  Also, if we’re out of the house, all we can do right now is randomly hit power buttons and hope that some of the TVs that turned on will turn off and that we’re not turning on the TVs that were already off after a power outage. It would be great if you could make this happen on an update coming soon! Thank you!

Re: PLEASE!! Feedback for app

Maybe they will implement that suggestion, but one thing you can do is buy a brownout protector.  These keep the power off for several minutes (usually around 4 minutes) after an outage to help prevent the surge that causes devices to turn on and/or damage them.  I had a similar issue with other devices (not my TVs) and bought these and they work pretty decently.  I have a whole house surge but added these to prevent what you are talking about. These are especially useful for preventing damage to your refrigerator but work for other stuff.   You can search online such as AMZ and find them.

Thank you! As you said, would still be an excellent easy upgrade to the app. I hope they add it!
