Dear Roku Team,
I hope this email finds you well. My name is [Your Name], and I am writing as a concerned and interested user of Roku TV services.
Roku is widely recognized as a leading platform for streaming entertainment, and its presence in various regions has undoubtedly transformed how users access digital content. However, I have noticed that Roku TV currently has no presence in Africa, especially in Nigeria, a country with a rapidly growing digital and entertainment market.
Nigeria, with its population of over 200 million people and a steadily increasing number of internet users, offers significant potential for streaming platforms like Roku. The demand for affordable and accessible digital entertainment options is high, and many users, myself included, believe that Roku’s entry into the Nigerian market would be well-received and beneficial to both users and your business. I just signed up now but was met with a clear enough prompt that you service is not available in my country (Not nice).
I’d like to understand if there are any plans for Roku TV to expand its services to Africa, particularly Nigeria, in the near future. If not, are there specific challenges or limitations preventing such expansion? If there are plans, I would be willing to be part of the process or team that will ensures this remarkable feat,
Thank you for taking the time to address my inquiry. I hope to see Roku make its way to this vibrant and promising market soon, and I am confident that your services would greatly enrich the entertainment landscape here.
Looking forward to your response.
Best regards,
Femi Ologun

Hi @LordLuwa,
Greetings from the Roku Community!
Currently, Roku players and TVs are not officially marketed or sold to that country, but your Roku player or TV should work fine in any country. Although some channels and content may work there, others will have geo-restrictions that prevent them from working.
Our constant goal is to give our customers the most significant streaming experience and user-friendly services possible. Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us.
You can check out our blog for the latest news and upcoming updates.
Thanks again for your interest and insights. We hope to expand our streaming platform to other countries to provide our customers with the best streaming experience.
Kind regards,
John
