Factory Reset and activation

A friend of mine gave me a roku tv, i noticed it has been already logged into by another roku user. I factory reset it and i am now on the “let’s get started” screen but once we pressed “english”, it didnt let us select and we are stuck on that screen. Any way someone could help please? Thank you.

Does the remote work at all?  Is it a voice remote with a microphone button on it?  If so, you may have to pair it.

If it's not a voice remote, is it the remote that came with the TV or some other Roku remote?

It is a voice remote, i bought the remote separate because the friend who had given me the roku TV unfortunately didn’t have the remote. I did pair the remote to the roku TV once i got it, it worked perfectly fine. When i did the factory reset, it took me to the “lets get started” screen. I’ve tried the voice thing but have no clue how to use it, i did press on it while talking and i tried holding it too. unfortunately i couldn’t figure out how to use it. Do you have any idea(s) i could try ?

@k1018kg, if you factory reset the TV you'll need to pair the remote again.  Just do what you did before or follow the link I posted above.

Have you tried unplugging the power cord for a moment and then restarting the setup process?
