Solution to Continuous Loop of Software Update

Doing a factory reset and setting up the TV to work in 'Store Mode' is an option which doesn't prompt a software update. 

Once you've booted into Store Mode you can navigate through the settings and turn it off. 

You do need to reload your apps.
